I did research and realized the Bay area already has a train system but I don't live there so I am not sure on how good the train covers the area.

I think a good train system is a better alternative.
they raise the price as more people enter the hot lane. would you pay upwards of $10 just to save 15 minutes?
What happens when the hot lanes backs up?
I'm all for it - if you live in the area, you'll know this is a good idea.
Although, I think a better idea would be to make the interchagne between 580e and 680s better. Right now it's a piece of garbage.
