  • wow thats loking good, surprisingly fast too

  • @facebiter

    Thx,

But it is almost twice as fast as in the video now.

    thanks to the 3s lipos.

  • @Gurjen95 I just bought the tt-01 with the fairlady z body. I swapped the stock motor with a Dynamite Fuze 3300kv and I am now waiting for the aluminum propellor shaft. My question is...what is the stock gear ratio? Should I switch it up? I am running a 4000mha 3s 11.1v battery. Thank you and nice video.

  • @Tikitxiki2

    Hi,

the stock gear ratio is: 19t - 61t.

I should try first with the stock ratio and if you don't like it or the speed is not fast enough you could change to something like: 24/58t or 25/55t.

btw: if you are used to the stock motor + stock ratio + 7.2v battery, i think you will also agree with the stock ratio. Because it will surprise you ;).

  • What gear ratio do u have on that and what battery lipo, nimh or nicd

  • @GenetiX881

In this video the ratio is 25/55t. Battery is a 3000mah nimh.

At this moment the ratio is 28/55t and i have a zippy 4000mah 40c 3s lipo.

And that is a big difference with the old nimh.

  • @Gurjen95 i am quite happy with the stock ratio actually. to be honest, its even faster than i thought. thanks for the quick reply. cant wait to get the aluminum drive shaft because the torque the motor produces is bending the stock plastic shaft and ends up hitting the upper mount and therefore stops the motor.

  • @Gurjen95 haha Ik hoop dat ze dat ook doen

ik weet een klein beetje Duits, omdat ik het geleerd op school,

    niet veel maar

  • @dezzaovsutton1990

I'm actually not a german :P. I'm from holland. And i think you don't even know one word dutch :D.

I hope that the new diffs will live longer :P.

  • @Gurjen95 thanks for the reply back, i think my pinion and spur will wear soon they just haven't had the time to yet with the diffs wearing straight away, i think ill go with the ball diffs. and your english is good dude,

better than my german anyway. lol
