This is the MOST HEARTBREAKING SCENE between Peter and Olivia ever. Not only of the episode, but of the entire show.

Anna Torv, you are EXTRAORDINARY. Josh Jackson, you're not bad yourself, but I'm sorry to say, Anna stole the episode! AMAZINGLY HEARTBREAKING FROM BEGINNING TO END!

Olivia: You know what Barrett said? He said that he looked into her eyes, and he knew that it wasn't her. ... I understand the facts. I know that she had reams of information about me, and about my life, and about the people that were close to me. And I understand that if she slipped up, she would have a completely reasonable explanation for it, and I guess to expect you to have seen past that is perhaps asking a little bit too much. But when I was over there, I thought about you, and you were just a figment of my imagination, but I held on to you, and it wasn't reasonable, and it wasn't logical, but I did it, so, why didn't you? She wasn't me. How could you not see that? Now, she's everywhere; she's in my house, my job, my bed, and I don't wanna wear my clothes anymore and I don't wanna live in my apartment, and I don't wanna be with you. She's taken everything.

Peter (when Olivia's gone): I'm sorry.

Anna Torv definitely needs Emmy for this.

Until Fringe, I never exactly got my emotions evoked by a television show and for years I've been watching it with a passion...but this scene was so sad a heart-wrenching, and it honestly almost brought a tear to my eye. I really, really hope that Olivia forgives Peter someday.

This is the most emotional and poweful scene ever!!!! And the way he says "I'm sorry" at the end makes it all that much sadder

Awwwww! What a bad break! I am not sure either if I could forgive and forget or not. You would think there would be something different that Peter could've seen or felt. But, on the other hand, he has been in love with her for some time without the feelings really being returned. So then when he got his break he grabbed it. But do you think he would've wondered why the quick change of heart? Who knows!

What a scene. I thought season 3 was going to be a bore, but this is beyond any expectations anyone seems to have had.

I'm a fringe "newie"..just started with season 1 a few weeks ago and I gotta say, with every episode I saw, I dug it more..and THIS is the best scene so far. Exited for what's to come next..

I'm on the 14th episode of season 3 and I cry whenever I see them together. It looks like there's no hope but I'm sure they'll manage that or at least I hope they will. Fauxlivia ruined everything... If she wasn't pregnant there would be a chance for them. I don't know what happens next but I'll keep looking for a chance for them.

I agree with u 100% because he believe that his love for her was bring out the new side of Olivia, also the love that he was getting from AltLivia who he believe was Olivia was changing him also.

This is just my opinion but I honestly think it wasn't AltLivia he preferred, but more what he thought was this new side to his/our Olivia. If I were him I would see these changes as Olivia opening up to me, letting me in. I really don't think he preferres the other Olivia, what he said in season two, in my opinion, was his way of distancing himself from the everything and everyone from the other side. The brunette hair meant change, a difference. So at the time he liked it.
