Hard chine, fast, planing hull for pleasure and commercial fishing and lobstering boats.
The moulds for this hull were originally owned by a company in Port Hood, Nova Scotia, and it was called the Colindale 42' at that time.
After this video was taken by the original owner in Port Hood, the moulds were then purchased from him by my father's company, Novie Boatbuilders Ltd., in Nova Scotia. Novie renamed the hull, "The Novie Scooter", which is the name it is now being sold under.
You can view a higher res version of this video on their company website. (www.novieboat.com)
More video will be added here in the future of the fishing version of this hull.
You're right, the quality is not that great and I'm hoping to get better video next year myself of some of the boats in our area built on that mold. The previous owner of the molds had the video made and it looks good on VHS tape. I had a local company convert the video to .wmv but they didn't do a very good job.
Thanks for the comment.
