HIGHLY UPGRADED??? i swear i heard you say it chopped.... i have an ion with a virtue board and L7 bolt.... at LEAST 10,000 balls through it and never a single chop...

@longfingaz: When you get to the last ball in a hopper, there is no weight pushing that ball all the way into the firing chamber. This causes the last ball to chop on occasion because it is not properly seated, so the bolt pushes the ball while it is still partially in the feedneck.

yeah same except mines bone stock except for a progressive 14 in barrel and ive never chopped a ball in my life of having the gun(3 years)

@WizzyG1 Again, this goes back to the fact that this gun is tuned to shoot fast, not perfectly. If I set the dwell a bit higher, the bolt would go back for a bit longer allowing that ball to settle into place before being shot. With the dwell set so low, the ball does not have time to settle, causing it to be chopped.

Thanks. I wish I still had this baby... I traded it for an 06 Dark Ego. It's a good trade as far as value goes, but the Ion shot soooo much smoother and a LOT faster.
