i am now a 21 year old infantry marine. i still tear up when i hear this, just like i did 4 months ago the first time i heard it. this is my inspirational song. the days i wake up and feel like i dont want to, or physically can not do anything, i can listen to this. it does a good job at reminding me that i can do anything with God. i do it and he gets me through it. nothin but grace.

I made a huge mistake when I was young and server 11 years in jail for it, My past will never go away, no matter how much I try to make right, I can really relate to this song.

i was feeling pretty depressed, and so i went out for a drive. As I was driving back home this song came on and it hit me like a ton of bricks. The first verse describes me perfectly. I cried immediately. Then when the song ended I felt better, because I realized i had love all along in God. and now i feel better :)

I love this song because herd it on 88.1 fm radio and this song came on and I just teared up because I had just been dumped by my boy friend Shain and god made that song come on at the perfect moment and I felt like I could go to god for any thing and he will help me through thank you K-love for playing such great music

@V0rtex500 I still remember my grade 12 English teacher telling us when someone tells you "no offense but ..." - that person is about to offend you. And this song is solely about religion, or the thrid verse makes no sense.

Never heard of this artist or this song, I just ran across it on FB. I think I've slightly teared up maybe once for a song but its definitely not usual. I tell you what though, when she started singing God's words to the prisoner, the tears started falling and then the sobs came =P. I may not have a sad story like the people in the song, but I still sometimes yearn for someone to "love me for me". Thanks Jesus, you know what your lambs need to hear =)
