I remember this is the first wrestling match I've seen on TV. I didn't even know the wrestlers, but I was really hoping for the kid to beat that old man and win the championship. I hated it when he got screwed and laughed when that old guy got what he deserved and went flying into the water.
Of course now I've seen thousands of wrestling matches, but I will always remember this Mysterio/Flair WCW match as the one that started it all for me.

A HUGE Mysterio fan since 1996. I was on the edge of my seat.... and went to sleep pissed off that Rey was THAT close to winning the big one. Oh well.... 7 years or so after this match, I finally got my wish.
