Pakistan Film Magazine on http://mazhar.dk/film/ is paying a tribute to the film artists from East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), who appeared in Dacca-based Urdu movies from 1956-71. You can find lot of information's with rare pictures, videos and some complete movies on this website.

This is on the occasion of The Fall of Dacca on December 16, 1971 when nine month long civil war ended with occupation of East Pakistani capital city of Dacca by the Indian Army and their collaborators.

This heavy military defeat was not only a shameful memory for Pakistan Army, but also a huge blow for the Islamic history, when Indira Gandhi claimed "Revenge of thousand years Muslim dominance in India". It was not possible without the help from traitors like Mujeeb-ur-Rahman (who was killed by his own Bengali soldiers - the justice was done..!) & his terrorist, criminal and militant organization Mukti Bahini. These evil bastards were trained, equipped and brainwashed by the Indians to split Pakistan in two parts. First they made controversy about the Urdu language, which was not from West Pakistan but was a token of unity for all Muslims in the Indian-sub-continent. Then they misguided and misinformed Bengalis for the economical injustice between West- and East Pakistan, which was totally wrong, because due to small in size but with big population, limited resources but consistent natural disasters, Bangladesh always have been a poor territory . Even after 38 years of independence, Bangladesh still is one of the most poorest, corrupt and political unstable country in the World - and now they can not blame Pakistan for all their failures..!

This is also a great tribute to all martyrs or Shaheeds from Pakistani Army and their helpers who fought an unwanted war against aggressors and traitors. It is also a remembering day for all innocent Bengalis or non-Bengalis, who were killed in this civil war..

  • @absage2001 pakistan zindabad

  • @Hafizhaseebify Agartala conspiracy case was an unprovable thing and even if think it was true, well, then the problem would be that the case was in 1968 and the election was in 1970, see the two years gap in between my friend. Any more history lessons, eh? Thankyou.

  • @sacoxford Certainly you are right about the outcome of elections. But my point of concern is different. It was an internal matter that should be solved internally, rather than by seeking help from other countries like Awami League did, known as Agartilla Conspiracy. And I think you are calling me razakar. BTW i am not but even if I were, I would proud of it because betrayal/succession is not an option for me.

  • @sbari187 tui razakar.

  • hafiz awami league won the election, they should have not suspended the national assembly, hand over power to the winning party, thats democracy which u guys dont understand.. still suffering after 1947 no successful govt. in pakistan, a failed country.

  • But somehow, I put more blame on East Pakistani Politicians because they tried to align with India, instead of solving the internal disputes internally without involving any third party, especially the ones who already have hatred in their hearts for us.

  • I am still unable to believe on the 'so-called war atrocities', because without having concrete proofs how one can be blamed for. Although there were tremendous mistakes done by the west Pakistani Politicians but I feel no doubt in saying that East Pakistani Politicians were also not much different. Both of them were fighting for power and made the people suffer.

  • this is our victory day
