l Love this song! Frank Rocks!!! No doubt a huge influence on Jimi Hendrix.

Fuck yeah I was there, 17 years old, I remember the wake up song: The Beatles "Why don't we do it in the road"

we put a wire out the window for an antenna so we could watch this at midnight in georgia because the atlanta station was the only one carrying it.....we were too far north, near the state line......and it worked fine. I was in 8th grade and this stuff rocked my world. Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and this one......We talked about it for weeks at school...GREAT!

damn I'm the only one who wasn't there...but excellent band...

So many people do Hendrix, some good..some not so good but playing someone elses music is the highest form of flattery in my opinion. No one is Hendrix but keep him alive by keeping his music alive!

YOU ARE NOT JIM GOOD BUT NOT JIM

I was there, I was 16 years old and i was trippen balls in Acid all night..pot, acid, speed, angle dust, beer..but it was the 9 hits of acid I did late in the day that was the best, greatest gig i ever i went to...

LOL!!! Great!

@jeffrewillis - Back when acid was pretty popular and weed was a couple bucks for a matchbox. I was experienced in the 70s until I had a super bad freaky trip. Never touched it again.

One of my many favorite bands growing up.
Let's face it, Frank's got balls, and the chops, to come out and play Hendrix. The was a lot of "How dare anyone come out and try to play the great god Hendrix" bullshit mentality back then. Trower caught a lot of that same crap as well. You don't honor a legend by burying his music in his grave with the corpse. By time Stevie was playing Jimi, that attitude had started to die-off thank God.
