  • Hi Juanster! As far as I know there were only two public talks with "buddhist officials", namely with venerable Prof Walpola Rahula from 1979. It is from the series "Can humanity change":

    - Can Truth Be Perceived Through Time (1st Conversation with Buddhist Scholars)

    - What Is It That Dies (2nd Conversation with Buddhist Scholars)

This talk here (Insight Meditation) is an excerpt from the 2nd Conversation. You can find the 1st one by just looking for the title in youtube!

  • english subtitles would be very helpfull.... I cant understand anything of what the monk says !!!

  • @inner7: I just added a link to the transcription to the description of the video (for some reason its not possible to post links here?!)

  • @professionalkarthi hmmm agreed :) very true

  • The Buddhist monk never realized that he was talking to a Buddha..

neither most of this youtube viewers.

  • Whatever Jiddu Krishnamurti preached in front of public can be found in Buddhism which is long before Krishnamurti's born. What I see in Jiddu Krishnamurti is a intelligent man who teach according to ur english . Therefore I have doubt about Krisnamurti's knowledge.

  • @ugmadhu123 The two way dailogue sucks. The monk is trying to hard to be better than K. That is the problem here.

  • I think it's worth pointing out that Krishnamurti's childhood was not rosy. In fact, according to Mary Lutyens' memoir of K, at a very young age, he was so under-nourished and ''extremely weak physically that his father declared more than once that he was bound to die'' .

  • First comb over I have seen from the ear up.

  • All these people including JK should have been thrown into Siberia and then they would have better understood what is life rather than indulging in these intellectual games and armchair philosophies.

  • Intellectual bastards !!!!

  • The only way to know, is to realized by yourselft, there is not way to comprehem something that you have not experimented.
