OMG...I met these twins when i was 11 and lived in York.... Me and my friends would see them at the shops in Acomb York and ask them the time just to get them to talk, they would tell us to f** off or they would get us! Once when i was on the bus with my mam, i remember them both looking at me at the same time and asked me "what the f*** are you looking at?" Sadly in June 2007 greta died and Freda is often seen at her sisters grave still talking to her. God bless you both Freda and Greta

@prettygirlyh Well, yikes. That's an old comment that I don't even remember. But nowhere in her comment does she state anything that indicates that she was causing any trouble. Just wanting to talk to them is causing trouble? How is that causing trouble? She didn't do anything wrong. Look up trouble in the dictionary.

ignorant pray karma doesnt exist- ANYONEcan have child/ loved 1 with mental health disability. agree seems like classic autism/aspergers. anyone can b born with it- no known cause or cure! 1 in 10000 kids diagnosed 20yrs ago now 1 in 500 most 1st world countries. early intervention/diagnosis saves money & gives suffers a chance not 2 b like these 2. They have High Functioning Autism. It is painfully obvious. But in 1994, psychologists where still in the dark ages.

The repeating of sentences/words is due to Echolalia, a common and unique feature of autism.

Autism is 92% genetic, if one identical twin has it, it almost certain the other twin will be autistic too. I help run a social group for adults with autism and asperger, some of the more severe folks are very like these twins.
