For the 17th consecutive year, Mark Held from "Mark's Garden" has provided the floral arrangements for the Governors Ball, the "Oscar's" posh post-awards bash.

So, creating new designs while staying faithful to the party guidelines has been a challenge Held has faced repeatedly.

This year the theme is "Streamline Modern." What does that mean? A perfect blend of 1930s chic with modern Los Angeles influences.

Wow, that's a heady design description, but what that means for those of us playing at home - at least according to the designer - is 20,000-plus flowers filling the entire room with color and fragrance.
