Humphrey Bogart, Marlene Dietrich, Peter Lorre, Orson Welles, Raymond Chandler, Bernard Herrmann, and Howard Hawks? Talk about a dream team...

I am very happy that this is finally up on YouTube (though there is a version of better quality here, too), because now I can say THANK YOU! I have downloaded this from your site, oh, years ago, and I can't express how much Iove it.
Did I say THANK YOU?

I do not want to ruin it but the LOTR was not realeased until 1954 or something. Funny but

This is mindblowing! When I was younger, I had these dreams in which Middle-Earth and the world around me intermingled. I was also thinking about a movie, more alienating than parodistic, in that spirit. Although I'm european and not american, I see a lot of what I had in my head back in this movie!

That's the whole point...it's a parody.

Wow, I thought that that film is real.
It's been brought to my attention that the video speed on this copy has mysteriously gone psychotic. I don't know why, but there's now a more watchable copy available: YouTube's video yUf8reRSImk .
