I have been wanting some warm background music to play quietly when guests are over. The front parlor is full of vintage furnishings, and some vintage music remixed with more echo and bass to help it melt into the atmosphere seemed appropriate. This is just one mix by the great Maxine Sullivan.

Definitely on the same wave length . All you listed on my best list. Maybe a slight reservation on a too jazzy Vaughn) I also like Johnny Hartman and Vic Damone (his Closer Than A Kiss album is a gem )Of the real old timers I love Al Bowley , Whispering Jack Smith and the very young Hildegarde.

@stevers62 OMG another one ! I love Maxine Sullivan. She along with Bailey and Lee Wiley are my favorite female singers ! AND this is one of my top 10 songs...especially her version 9 also like Dakota Staton's ) Thank you !

@miltsar Thanks for the nice comments. I'm so glad you liked the Mildred Bailey and Maxine Sullivan echo mixes. It sounds like we have very similar tastes since my two favorite jazz singers are Mildred Bailey and Lee Wiley. Also love Maxine Sullivan, Billie Holiday, Ella, Sarah, etc.......plus the non-Jazz like Judy, Bing, etc.
