This guided tour of the area surrounding McMurdo Station in Antarctica uses the Landsat Image Mosaic of Antarctica (LIMA). It's a great way to experience the frozen continent without any risk of frostbite.

edit: National defence includes military perspective, but also geo-political perspective and geo-econimical perspective, and so /nasa can cover up a lot of things, legally (..)

@ RonPaul2008dotcomluv: If one looks at the actual charter under which NASA was originally put under existance, it states clearly there that NASA is an agent, a division of the dept of Defence. Its beholden to the dept of defence. Also a document called Exetitive order 10501, that is to safeguard official info in the interest of the defence of the US..

lol, in that case, africa and eurasia are on land mass as well because before the suez canal they were connected. so there is:

1. america (n & s = 1)

2. afri-euro-asia

3. australia

4. antarctica
