[story]:Yuuki is saved from a vicious vampire as a child. She falls in love with the one who saves her, Kaname. She grows up knowing only him with her entire life revolving around his existance. Someone watching secretly from the sidelines, Zero, finally snaps. He can no longer sit by watching Yuuki obsess over him. He begins plotting his move. Before he has time to act on his plans, he discovers Yuuki in trouble. After his heroic rescue, Yuuki begins to notice him more. However, Zero's vampire side grows extremely unstable. Just when the tiniest feelings had developed, Zero grabs Yuuki and pierces her skin with his fangs. Even though Zero had no intention of ever drinking her blood, he enjoys it....immensely. He drank and drank until Yuuki's body was sucked dry. Now, Kaname, who had slowly fallen in love with Yuuki as well, is out for revenge.
