The vast majority of the population, business people, trade unionists, professionals; just want stability, sane stable government and the worst excesses of competition, capitalist infighting and criminal corruptions to go away.
There are more important issues, like management of resources, quality and dignity of life.. and beauty
The free market is a good engine, a religion only for those of minuscule imagination.
Balance is the same thing as steering.
problems get sorted out where reason rules.

A really big part of this is that we are restructuring.
The Soviet Union lost the cold war First!
Now the west is dumping it's free market rhetoric and cold war structures too.
We are dumping dinosaurs.
They are trying to hold on by attacking democracy and lobbying by buying government.
They want protectionism as it justifies their existence.
Arms, oil and worst evil corps. are behind 90% of the BS.
Let us move on to a saner, peaceful balanced world and economy, let's all grow up.
