very good video! but instead of the pen, if you have any old arrows lying around they work really well. just take off the tip and the fletchif and voila, you have a nice little blow pipe, can also be shortened to be more portable and to stuff in a bug out bag or survival pack.

Good way to screw up a pair of scissors and a good knive. Try a pair of tin snips and a drill motor. Pliers for handling the damper and cooktop.

@chuckbyf1 It's designed to be a 'low tech' solution on a 'need' basis. Tin snips, pliers and a drill defeat that, tho if you have them on hand I definitely condone using them. BTW the scissors were bought for a buck, and the knife is high carbon and didn't even require sharpening after.

Good work. How often do we find a tin can in a remote place? OFTEN. A smaller can would make a perfect Sterno stove. Have you considered flueing it more and dropping the other lid in the bottom so you could burn wood without it falling through the gaps?

@Odhinn222 I did try that, but didn't get the same results. With only air coming in from the top the fire often choked out because there was no flow.

wouldnt it make more sence to make the flue cut while the tin whole so it not colapse? or become to bent if someone heavy handed

@cr0cket01 Being corrugated the tin isn't as bendy as you may think.
