Here is a video showing some highlights from various meetings at the Commodore Computer Club and Users Group in PDX Vancouver, Washington.
You can expect to see various Commodore Vic-20, C64, SX-64, C128 and Amiga computers and accessories at the Commodore Computer Club meetings.
We try and have some sort of official presentation at our meetings as well. Presentations can be on Commodore related hardware and/or software or other vintage computers or video game related consoles and games too.
At our meetings members and guests help each other out with needed repairs or modifications to our Commodore computers and accessories, play disk and cartridge based games, show off graphics and music demos and of course talk.
Usually there will be a nice selection of Commodore magazines (RUN, Commodore, Compute, Ahoy) from the 1980′s and 1990′s on hand to check out as well.
We also buy, sell and trade various Commodore hardware, software and magazines.
As a side note, we also discuss the Atari 2600, Atari 8-bit computers, Vectrex consoles, various homebrew games, hacks, video modifications, etc. When the mood strikes, we even play video games on other retro systems and computers.
We get together the first Friday of every month. Meetings typically start at 6pm pm PST and go until midnight (closing time). People from Portland, OR typically show up between 6pm - 7pm PST.
