@snedie69er that should be lots. check for background tasks chewing up ram & CPU. Make sure you're upgraded to the latest version of DCS a10. Xfire was an issue in the earlier versions in that it didn't actually use both GPUs.Check out the forums on their website, there's lots of discussion there on how to optimize. Have fun!
Thanks man. I wonder if this game has an issue with X-Fire, could even be my CPU (I5 @ 4.3Ghz). When you say ram makes a big difference, do you mean amount? Currently running 8GB at 1900Mhz (ish).
@snedie69er Running an i7 920 on a DX58SO MB, and 2x ATI 6870 in crossfire, 6 GB DDR3 ram. Ram makes a big difference I think. Turn down some stuff like HDR,water, draw distance, etc... that would help, especially draw distance and clutter distance.
