The Spinning Wheel, This version of this rather pretty and fun song was recorded in 1969 by Majella a folk singer from Ireland.
The song when coupled with a lovely accent, is the very character of, elopement and eloquent romance and of course the denial, oh its only the wind or the ivy rattling round the window, while she eagerly awaits to meet on the moor with her lover. In a word simply delightful.
