in New Jersey we dont call them "chart bitches" we call them "Podium Princesses" (male and female alike) because the supervisors usually have a podium (atleast at my prison)

Lmao wow this is so damn true but what this video didn't tell is you have to be 60 years old just to collect retirement. That means for me I have to drag my ass to a place 5 days a week for 39 years before I can touch a penny of the 200 bucks they take out of my pay check. Another thing is the inmates and their family can sue you for just about anything they want. Good luck to all you future co's

@stewy374 You're right, we knew what we were getting into. We do a job that people like you do not have the guts to do. We took a job that the public doesn't want to admit exists, and when they have to they refuse to thank us.We took a job that most people won't take, and we did it because it needs doing. No other reason. COs are a very rare breed. I've had lots of people, including Police officers, tell me they could never do my job. It's not fun, its not supposed to be.

It couldn't have been better said....much love to all my brothers and sisters...walking the halls of insanity every freaking day!!!!...I have been a co for 11yrs now...I love my dysfunctional family....and the carnival ride of my 8 to 12 hr shift....~lifer~
