Engadget Show - Playstation Move Intro

This is the first part of the Playstation Move Demo from Engadget. It is the part that is missing from other videos and is Dr. Richard Marks demoing the early beginnings of Move, Eye Toy and even 3DV (Natal). Thanks to Engadget for doing this show.

So you SonySuckers, can be quiet. Sony couldn't do anything as eficient and fun as nintendo did. Of course none of them invented this stuff. But there's a diference when you do a good homework (nintendo) e then a company that just get back the same device that was thrown away because they saw another company did a perfect job with it.

Sony is CopyCompany. You can see 'cause they rarely invent franchise with new concept. But it's not bad cuz most of games are really good "copy" games. :)

You guys are little bit blind or just dumbs?

Sony used a camera to get movements and objects to transform them into gadget inside the game. There's no "deep" games for this kind of shit.

A lot of softwares on internet can do the exactly same thing with a WEBCAM, you can use any kind of shit around you house to play whatever you want. The only problem is that most webcams got "lazy" capture movmnts and are not eficienty as one which was design just for videogames as the one seen in this video

Theres even a super old video somewhere on youtube I saw and it was an interview with Richard Marks with him specifically saying, "We actually started this project back at 2000 were we just stabbed a Big ball onto a stick." :)
