Doesn't it seem odd that so much significance should be invested in these events. Choosing delegates for a nominating convention in two small states? Why is it so portentous?

representative governments are full of compromises. the idea is to have smaller states have a voice in the selection of nominees and have the larger states influence the final choice. this way smaller states won't feel "steam rolled" by the larger states and the smaller states can have a say in our political process.

Who are these pollsters, and why should we trust them? They are excuses to justify ignoring certain candidates who the polls' owners, big media, don't like. Polls also make it easier to steal elections because, invariably they are neck and neck at election day. Presidential polls are lies.

Poll this, poll that, please tell me what to think. Polls are more effective at shaping outcomes than predicting them. Learn about sample sizes, question techniques, and who pays for all these polls. Hey, did you hear, it's going to be cloudy tommorrow. I wonder how that will impact the race? Which candidate can capitilize on the condensation of water vapor? Better do another poll...
