I'm sure you'll get a better "touch" from nylon; the problem is you'll try one in a store and hate the sloppy flabby strings, and un-bright overly mellow sound...I know, I played steel for about 10 years until I finally went back to nylon.
Nylon suits this style, I cite Naudo as the ultimate example ;)
Next song? I'll record Ullis "Mad World" sometime, and I'm working through Naudos "Stand by me" - the punters will love that ;)

There is something about this that I just love......it sounds kinda like how David Gilmour from PInk Floyd would have done it......Definately saved to my playlist...Going to play it over and over.....something very haunting about it....I'm very glad you shared that.

I could see where you were going with that one DX5. You are an arranging machine, and it's all good stuff. However, the sound out of that steel string just doesn't work for me, there is only so much "feel" you can get from a steely; you need the touch only a nylon could give you. It would be hard for you to cross over, it's taken me ages, but well worth it. The "twangyness" of steel is letting you down a bit, IMHO.
But, all said, excellent arrangement. Hope your back gets better soon.

Iv been considering the nylon approach as i myself think it sounds better.... i like steel to play with though lol but as you said it would be worth it. Thank you once again for your comment any idea what your next upload may be...? even if not i know it will be awesome :)
