Marmalade - Reflections of my life 1992
1969 number 3 in UK, number 10 in US

The changing of sunlight to moonlight
Reflections of my life
Oh how they fill my eyes

The greetings of people in trouble
Reflections of my life
Oh how they fill my eyes

Oh my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home

Oh my crying (Oh my crying)
Feel I'm dying, dying
Take me back
to my own home

I'm changing, arranging,
I'm changing,
I'm changing everything
Everything around me

The world is
a bad place
A bad place
A terrible place to live
Oh but I don't wanna die ...

  • what nerve to lip sync this.

  • @jimiz28 Its called "lip synking", your right though, someone should have advised him to put hat on his obscene bald head!

  • @MaeNotEast That guy should be embarrassed,,if he was a true talent himself he would know that. You just can't copy some songs and artists JB--WILSON PICKETT--BO DIDDLEY--CHUCK BERRY--SOLOMON BURKE etc etc.

  • @MaeNotEast That is not DEAN FORD singing. This guy should be embarrased. I once had a program director when I was in radio that made the substitute DJ use the name of the guy who was off,,That crap didn't last long. WPDQ Jacksonville,Fla. 1971. The PD is still around or I'd tell ya his name. WAS JUST DUMB

  • @Vidwatchuk I AGREE,,STUPID,,COPY CATS. Some songs just cannot be copied,

  • Why play the original and mime????? utter bullshit

  • my favorite song ,beautiful .carupano edo sucre venezuela for the world

  • The song's beautiful, but the words make you want to open a vein. I suspect it caused more than a couple suicides.

  • Yeah, the lip-synching is terrible, but I think the good news is that someone managed to slip in the original version for the show! Could explain why the singer was having such a hard time keeping time - or he could have been protesting that his singing wasn't being used. I don't think I'd be happy if I was him.

It was rare for a song to be sung live on TV from a certain point on, still is. Don't know if this started in the 60s or not. Remember, even the singing in videos in lip-synched.

  • great lyrics...
