i have this problem also but what i do is delete any 3rd party app which you dont lose data on e.g. facebook app then re-install it and u will find that all your apps will start working again

mine still does that shit were u gota keep restoreing and im at 3.1 you sinc ringtones and it erases your songs and video the whole iphone OS is stupid it really pissis me off somtimes.....

This was a problem for me and everyone who had 2.0 and 2.1 but when 3.0 came out they seemed to fix it but, if you don't update your iPhone your apps won't work because I think the apps will stop working if you don't update your iPhone for some reason..

that's why i don't like the iPhone, The OS is so closed that when something goes wrong, you can't know what goes wrong and the damn thong treats you like a dumbass! "This Iphone cannot be used" i mean whats that suppose to mean? i like how everything has been made so easy, but the OS should have an "advanced user" option, but it doesn't have anything like that and thats what makes us geeks angry!
