This creation is an amalgamation of various art forms:

The painting -- "The Old Guitarist" painted by Pablo Picasso in 1903 after the suicide of a close friend. The best of his blue period.

The poem -- "The Man with the Blue Guitar" written by Wallace Stevens in 1937. Some say he wrote it after seeing "The Old Guitarist".

The music -- "Estudio V" or "Study in B Minor" composed by Fernando Sor in the 1800's and performed by Julian Bream.

Rationale for making this:
The music for this presentation was taken from the 2006 documentary; "Julian Bream: My Life, My Music". In this scene Bream is an old man hunched over his guitar playing in an attic. I found it melancholy to see a master like Bream go from sold out venues (in his youth) to playing alone in an attic (in his old age). It reminded me of "The Old Guitarist" and the poem by Stevens.
