  • What horse power is the starting engine 5 or better, would be nice to get a close up of it. Phil

  • it was about 5hp but may have been 6hp ..

    the rubber friction drive was about 4inch diameter ... in my opinion a 8hp motor would have been better and maybe a 5inch friction drive .. they did have a lot of trouble getting it to fire ... but who knows i was only a spectator ?...

     sorry its the only pics i got

  • i think they used a bar that fits in notches in the flywheel ... and you rock them back and forth till they fire ?
