How to: Thumbspin knife trick, and Reverse 180 spin preview

Here's a how to I got a request for, but took forever to get to. Again, it's easier and safer to practice with a pen.

Also, this video has a preview of a reverse 180 knife spin that I haven't quite mastered.

How to do the thumbspin:
1. Grip the knife (or pen) between your thumb and middle finger.

2. With your middle finger, push the knife toward your wrist.

3. The knife will spin after reaching a certain point. You're trying to spin it over your thumb's knuckle.

4. Catch the knife with your index finger once the spin is complete.

This trick is difficult to do slower, because it won't spin properly. Hopefully you get the idea.

As for your advice, no, you're wrong. The knife I use isn't sharp enough to break the skin.

I don't really care what you do, But I have a little advice for you. When you lose control of a knife like you did in the video. Don't chase it, Just let it fall. One wrong spin from the knife and you would have been staring at your guts on the floor.
