He broke 24 records in only his 1st season as the #1back in OSU.
He went on to break many more in the NFL.

But to Barry Sanders it wasnt about the records the fame or the money. Which is what set him apart from almost if not all athletes in modern sports. Truly a class act all the way

Yeah, he didn't play in the fourth quarter even though he needed just one yard to break Craig James' record. That just shows how less he cares about personal records.

Greatest running back I have ever seen, probably even the best football player I have ever seen as well. Class act, who deserved to break every record, and win a super bowl ring.
