Watched F1 since I was 5 back in 1982, and Murray simply made the races for me, love him like a Grandad.

What I most value most on Murray is that, unlike most of British journalists and commentators, he is always fair and fair to everyone, not to everyone except Michael Schumacher...

I think he was actually pretty smart and had a great sense of humor, just a little eccentric but that is what was so endearing about him.

the Brundle Murray Walker pairing was by far the best we've seen, Brundle Allen Wasn't disasterous either but hang on then we come to Brundle Legard, is it really worth commenting on a man that is finally going next season and we can get some decent commentary again!

I read all 40 odd post on here and it just shows how highly regarded he is , Not one bad word about him .
He truly is a legend and is missed dearly .
