Orange AD30 metal tone. (OLD!)

Just jamming out a quick improv riff/couple of licks on my Washburn MG-34 through my Orange AD30 HTC with the Orange 4X12 cabinet.

I'm running it through a Boss DS-1 (Yeah the first few seconds are without it, you can hear when I kick it in) to get some extra gain out of it.

This is at a whisper quiet volume, seriously I can stick my head right next to the speaker cone and it's still a very comfortable volume.

Amp settings:

Channel 2: Master = just past 7 o'clock
Treble = 4 o'clock
Middle = 2.30 o'clock
Bass = 2 o'clock
Gain = Cranked full

Pedal settings:
Tone = Just past 12 o'clock
Level = 9 o'clock
Gain = 3 o'clock

But our sound engineer hates working with small spaces, so he just tells us to crank the amps and not bother with micing them up, haha.

Though we always use microphones on the drums, they sound so much better with microphones.

@Moustachio101 good. but even if we play in small bars ~150 people we usually mic our amps. it is not nessecery but we have better sound and stereo effects

If the venue is only capable of ~250 people then I don't usually mic it, no.
