The crows were not "wingmen". Those crows were attacking your bird. Crows and ravens often "mob" larger birds as a defense mechanism against bird of prey. Because crows have most likely never seen a macaw they must have mistaken it for a bird of prey. My own conures and Severe Macaw have been mobbed by crows before, but thankfully there were only 2 of them and my birds were not severely hurt. Just be careful of the other bird species

For how many years have you had your Macaws? It's great seeing them fly out in the open. Amazing creatures! My biggest question is how comfortable to do you feel letting them fly like that. I'd be scared that they wouldn't come back.

ha ha ha ;-) that particular video was my Friends Patrick Macaws (Freedom, Isis and Pearl) My macaws was just watching sitting on my shoulder while I was taking the video. He joined them on another video. But did you notice towards the end, two Crows joined the fun and start to chase the B & G. The G W came in and even the playing field. Its always nice to have a "wing man" I mean macaw. I am glad you like the video. Thanks
