I cant Stand the music nowadays it is horrible the 50's and early 60's was the greatest time for music it was about innocence not like music today about drugs and violence .

@TacMan68 Two of the best of the era, no doubt!!

wow time i saw the video start i knew someone in the group had left hopefully they knew Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

What a great group. That sax is killing me. What an annoyance. He should shut the f up and let them sing.

The singer on the right is Tom Ferrara, an original member of The Del Satins, who sang backup for Dion on most of his solo hits. Tom's brother, Fred, was also a Del Satin and was an original member of Johnny Maestro and The Brooklyn Bridge. These oldies/doo wop groups are losing members, but it's good that most of them are carrying on to keep this great music alive.

This group has always impressed me,as time went by, the world had a touch of heaven, just being able to hear this group. Sadly, this music is greatly unappreciated by the younger generations, This is the music of innocent love

RIP Nicky my NYPD Brother, what a loss in a year, Johnny Maestro and Nick.

So 2 members have passed out of the five..? Or is it that the capris were always 3 and had 2 others featuring on their labels or records?. Idk know to much, but I know I love this slow type of doo woop :)

In answer to your question - Nick Santos was the lead singer in 1968.
@Tony - the family appreciates his legacy and all the condolences that are still coming in.

With saddness ---
It is with great saddness that I let everyone know that one of the founding members, Vinny Naccarato passed away on 12/26/2008. I am fortunate to have known him as my uncle and my Godfather - his personality, like his music, was relaxing, touching, and real. You will be missed Uncle Vinny.

Sorry to hear about your uncle passing. My condolence. He will always be remembered by the music he created.
