Brit Hume apparently thinks that having Europeans like us is a bad thing. I'm so glad them hating us because of your buddy Bush you've been carrying water for has worked out so well for everyone Hume.

  • @arch571332 well i guess 10k is above poverty if you happen to live somewhere where you can actually live with 10k a year

  • @Darusdei People in tent cites and homeless are also included as being in poverty. I was just illustrating that people living very well are still considered in poverty by US government standards. A single man that makes $10,000 a year is considered in poverty according to the census bureau.

  • @arch571332 homeless people and tent cities and you call that "generous" ?

  • @slopri 2008-the “poorest” 1/5 of US households spent average $12,955 per person.

  • @slopri That is not correct.

    1) Poverty is defined as the state of one who lacks a usual or socially acceptable amount of money or material possessions. Rich nations like the US have very generous standards of poverty by comparison.

    2) The average income for the United States using the PPP method is $37,500. The only two places in the whole world that exceed this are Luxemburg and Bermuda. The PPP method is more accurate because it also accounts for cost of living and purchasing power.

  • @slopri

please speak for yourself and not for the whole of Europe, your comment only shows that there are also dumb Europeans...

  • No disrespect to USA, but we Europeans don't take people from the USA very seriusly, becouse we think you're not very smart (no offence). Like, the whole nation of americans belive they live in a great country, but when you look at the statistics you get the real picture:

    A few examples:

    -Poverty precentage:

    France-9,8%

    USA-19,5%

-Incomes per capita are higher in almost the whole europe, somewhere (luxemburg, norway, they're 3 times higher than the USA)lol

  • It's NOT that anyone WANTS anyone anywhere to "hate" him, but he's the U.S. President, NOT the President of Europe! Who CARES what Europeans think? They have gotten it WRONG on issue after issue, and can't even DEFEND themselves! They incompetent socialists! Brit is just saying that he shouldn't have concentrated SO MUCH on having them "like" him! That's all. And he's ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! Thanks, Brit Hume! Nov. 2010 and 2012 are coming!

  • lol 200k in berlin isnt that much

  • Yeah it's better that everyone hates you

that way you can have many friends...

    you do need friends?
