Dunno why people are fighting. This is not an adaptation. This is more like a "take on.." or rather inspired. There are many versions of the Ramayana. Everone of them pay their respects to Valmiki. Those versions Like Ramacharitra manas, or Kamban Ramayana were the labour of dedicated, love to Ramayana. This version clearly is not a tribute to Valmiki, it is more of an outcome of someone who just knows it form the surface and decides to appropiate it to their type of Audience.
