halloween is an abbreviation of all hallows evening, which means it is the day before all hallows day, which was started by the Roman Catholic Church (and which is another name for "All Saints Day") to convert certain pagans back in the day to THEIR religion. All Saints Day, before they moved it to November 1st, was in October 13, and it was moved to November 1st so that it also coincided with Sahmain...(to be continued)
