To all those who wanted to be the catalyst for a "change", and kept the grown ups away from their classes, what were you trying to prove? I would love to pick flowers and rally instead of going to class. The thing is, I don't live in that fantasy world. i have to work, and I work hard for my education. So if this dude was legit just trying to get to his class, and you were stopping him, that makes you all little fuckwads.

fuck the protesters. i live right in family housing. I would have rolled up my window and pushed my way right threw there "strong two lines"! They woke me up at fucking 6 o clock that morning with those fucking drums. I do not like the rise of dollar signs either but i do not go and block people from there classes and bitch about everything. grow the fuck up. u too mow hawk!

Amuseme, classes were officially canceled, but many professors chose to unofficially hold class because they want to teach their students no matter what.

Most of the comments on this video want the driver to run the protesters over. Realize that the individuals blocking the road are denying other people their rights.

I'm in favor of economic reform, but so many of these protests have made victims of the actual physical university and the students that attend it. Protest needs reform.

I am concerned that it is perceived that the students were standing alone. They were not simply protesting fee hikes, but entire departments that will be cut and faculty positions eliminated, creating a situation where students will be paying more for less options. The faculty have a lot of stake in this issue and most backed the protest by doing what they could to cancel class while remaining within their contracts. There are system wide problems and this was a system wide response.

I'll venture to guess that most of those protesters can afford to take a day off from classes. There are many faculty and staff who can't, myself included - one day means 10 hours of work missed. To expect people to give you respect when you've given them none to begin with is ridiculous... It still adds up to a bunch of brats throwing a hissy fit.

I suppose it's an expression of my naivete and overly positive outlook that I am shocked by the uninformed and negative responses of these comments. Do you really think pretending nothing is happening while a Public university is privatized - making a few people very rich while burying the poorest deep in debt - is a solution?
