@itubrrr only out of the dogs they tested. If you listen they say that bite force is correlated with skull size.

im a big fan of pitbulls have great lock jaw strength strongest out of all breeds they will hold more than its body weight in that respect but rating the psi downforce for a dog bite the mastiff would own. A study on the downforce of dog bites was conducted and the results were crazy pits downforce was around 200's(in psi) rotts 300's and a bull mastiff a whopping 500. Keep in mind it takes only 8psi to break a bone, but dogs should not fight dogs just burglars and door to door salesmans.
