I love when he says this in the first debate. Bush and Clinton were talking about how they've got plenty of experience and qualifications and Perot just says, "Well they've got a point. I mean I have no experience in running up a 4 trillion dollar debt." That just makes me laugh each time. Perot won that first debate.

I wasn't one of the nearly 1 in 5 Americans who chose Henry Ross Perot in the 1992 general election for president--but I was tempted. It was the first presidential election I was eligible to vote in, so I took it all oh, so seriously. Now sober nonetheless, Perot's colorful reference to the "crazy aunt down in the basement" reminds me of cORA M. “Cozy MAYo” ATWATER (072-30-4313) & Republican operative LEE ATWATER (248-94-1615). cORA's kid, Maxine M.
