  • The heart rate has been reduced by half, from 180bpm to around 90bpm. Amazing VO2 level. The best special force snipper unit material.

  • @timtufuga the race pace heart rate is accurate... but it doesn't drop 50%... we get down to 170 if we're lucky... to low isn't better.

  • where did you get that race suit.?

  • @tuqueman04 I designed it for the Quebec team for Canada Games in 2007.

  • so cool!!! i love that breath

  • @bobbyt2012 Well that is because you only have 20 seconds for 5 targets.

  • Gotta get the breathing under control excellent work.

  • @kaos3124 It doesn't really take much imagination... it was born in the military and used to be practiced to hunt while skiing. It eventually became a target sport and is now the most popular sport in Europe, like Hockey in Canada, or Football in the US. One World Cup can see over 100 000 spectators.

  • @BTIJ Thank you for that important fact. I can only reduce my heart rate to around 90 bpm after running 10km only after 3-4mins rest after exercise. 170 bpm is still fairly hectic for self control & to compose yourself for an accurate shot at target?! I am amazed by the acuity of body and mind of marksmen let alone the abilities of elite biathletes. Elite police teams, & Special forces, must have to pay oodles & oodles to acquire these amazing abilities to augment into these professions?

  • @caskinfg Worst: French Canadian mouahahah!

  • This guy lives in my city and used to go to my air cadet squadron.

  • This is JP-Legullec. The most respected biathlate in Canada my friend. I've actually seen this guy when I went to Canadian nationals last year. Just being near him is incredible. He truly is a Canadian icon and fantastic role model
