A C-130 from Pope AFB, callsign TARZAN, and an E-3 AWACS from Tinker AFB, callsign DISCO, recover after a Red Flag sortie.

  • Red Flag is a multinational exercise over the desert of Nevada. Dozens of countries bring their weaponry to have a simulated war with the US players based out of Nellis AFB.

    Thats definitely not a NATO bird. The red stripe on the tail signifies the maintenance unit at Tinker AFB.

  • Its also held in Alaska.

    Who ever said it was NATO, my description says its from Tinker.
