Chris Carr crashes at Charlotte

At the start of the race, Johnny Murphree gets into Chris Carr and crashes as his motorcycle caught fire.
Carr was OK.

The AMA only ran in Charlotte for 2 years. I went to both times and was bummed out when they sold that date to a higher bidder being ,, World of Outlaws Racing. Will Davis died a few races after he had won there. I think it might have been at the Indy mile. The flag man at the Charlotte race was also flagging the race at Indy when Will lost his life. The flag man was Poochy Cox and owned Cox Harley Davidson in North Carolina he passed away 2 years ago of cancer. life can be short and fragile.

yea flat track bike bikes have rear brakes, no front brakes, hare scramble races your allowed front brakes, right moonmaan??

Between 0:44 and 0:48, Carr's bike looked to have a mechanical issue. Because instead of the bike accelerating down the stretch (see how much farther the 1st rider got ahead in 1 sec?), it seemed to stutter ever so slightly, lose power and stall. And then Murphree on acceleration, with a slowing bike in front of him and pretty much having no time to pull away, hit his back wheel.

Criss had such a great additude.He took that "racing deal" very well.Like the true racer he is.

Thats funny how people get speedway bikes and flat track bikes confused.With the no brakes thing. They look nothing alike parked or going around the track. Hey guys that are not sure.Tiny front wheel no brakes! Big ass fat tire in the front BRAKES! he he:-)

I understood they didn't have brakes, that's one reason why that guy died a few years ago after having his head run over? I'm sorry I don't remember his name, and do NOT mean any disrespect
