Yeah, it's a real pig trying to get blacks to attend a traditional English folk music festival. I wonder why that is?

In fact they are so few blacks on the folk scene that we have to bring in some ringers to get the numbers up - Google 'Motley Morris'.

It's an exclusively English festival? I hadn't realized. Here in the U.S. "folk music" refers to all kinds of traditional music, so I'd assumed it would be the same over there, and a folk festival would have traditional music from a variety of cultures .  My mistake.

I think one of the main reasons are that blacks hardly have time and that they can't be bothered or they don't wanna be seen at things like this...i think it's the same with football matches live, they'd rather watch it on tv than go to the stadium unless their favourate team is playing
