We are now watching the final few years of Efren on top. He is not getting any younger, eventually age will catch up on him. But his knowledge of the game will always be with him. When he retires, that would be the saddest day of pool for me :-(... But his legacy lives on for years to come. 2 generations from now they will still be talking about this great cue master...Thank you Efren for entertaining us and showing your skills. We learned a lot from you! YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE KING OF POOL!

People who have seen Efren play only once think that last shot was lucky. Those who have followed him for years (I've been since the early 90s) have seen him pull off shot like that over and over, and statistically it would be impossible for one man, by pure chance, to get 'lucky' that many times. The Magician is the greatest player of his generation.

@JayPowerJnr you think you beat efren? if you are really good and you are THE real deal. why would you need a coach? it only shows the you do not have the knowledge. let your skill do the talking to be a champion. the deeper the water, the lesser the sound.

You may run out once or twice but that doesn't mean you're gonna beat a champion like Efren. There's a lifetime of knowledge and expertise in Efren's game, and there's no way you'll be able to beat that within a year of practice.
