I've read that a lot of the footage in the movies is recycled material from the show that's been remastered, and the new scenes like we see here are just sort of added touches. Is that true, or are there more scenes that are this detailed?

@spinalTapSoundGuy It's true that a lot of footage is recycled and polished. But there is enough new material to keep it interesting and the new animations look pretty good

It's well done. But I much prefer the original. It had a lot more magic to it.

Also, no Gackt cashing in on something he never watched as a kid.

@SmartyPantsDash Good guys? There were no good guys. It was a clash of ideologies. Char was the Aryan avenger getting in close to the Zabi's to wipe them out and lead side 3 to a golden era. Sayla was fighting against them as well. Your logic is very flawed. Char continued trying to achieve real independence for side 3 for the rest of his life and it drove him crazy.
