  • What an invention, the man was pure genius! And to think that they used to laugh at him because they thought he was foolish.

  • Ese Sr. Babagge si que era un genio, esos son los verdaderos desarrolladores de la computacion.

  • It uses a technique called the finite differences method. This means it can calculate any polynomial up to the 7th order. Additionally, the finite differences method can approximate other, more complex functions, meaning those functions can also be calculated.

  • @sharpnova2 Thanks.

  • i think it finds roots of 7th order polynomials.. to 31 decimal places. but i'm not sure. never heard a good description or a high enough quality video demonstration where the cameraman didn't have down sydrome and actually had the intelligence to hold the camera on the front and keep it there.

  • now this is what I'mtalking about :)

  • thx for uploading. I love such pre-computer systems. But what they are calculate? Ok, addition or inverse of addition, but wich values in this case? I die to know! My english isn't good enought, to understand the people.
