  • @sweetpealac Almost all venues have a rule against recording, I don't think it had anything to do with the fact that the songs were new. People always record the concerts regardless, and I am sure David knows this. The songs he sang are not guaranteed to be put on the album, it seems to me that he wanted the chance to sing them before he lost the opportunity and to give something to the fans. From what I have seen in the videos David himself never said anything about keeping it a secret.

  • thank you for sharing this :)

haha "you don't have to" lol. humble as always!

  • I WAS THERE!!

  • @sweetpealac They do that at every show for every artist and even put it on the tickets. It's not new for things to show up on the internet that weren't supposed to be recorded. Like with his book signings, they said no recordings, but there are many out there!

  • Audio is so good. Thank you for the vid,

I love this song and Parachute and Airplane.

Looking forward to his single in July and the album in the fall.

I enjoyed reading David's book, Chords of Strength. It's like he was talking to you one to one. great read. Love David Archuleta.

  • that concert was so good and i LOVE this song!!!!! he is so funny and cute :)

  • eh, don't care for this so much. Sounds a little like Bo Bice's The Real Thing. I do like the other two new songs.

  • @sweetpealac I think in general David does trust his fans when HE himself makes the request. When he was on tour he was verbal about not having anyone record the VIP sessions and no one did. If you are upset about the fact that a rule was broken plain and simple then I guess we will have to agree to disagree. If that rule wasn't broken we would not have seen him sing Be Still My Soul, which meant very much to me and others.

  • Somebody needs to take an ativan.

  • @Indigowaves2 This "venue" is my school, and they do not always have rules against recordings. It actually surprised me that they even mentioned it. The fact that people record the concerts regardless of the rules is what makes me sad. If David expects his fans to break these rules, then he can't have a very good opinion of us. It makes me even more upset that people at a school with the reputation of BYU-Idaho would be some of these "rule breakers."
