  • i did everything but when fred moves he doesnt take the items.. why!? is it because im use macromedia flash pro 8 ? i tried the first tut and it worked.. please help

  • it wont work for me , i roll over the items with "fred" but it doesnt pick them up?? i need help , i followed your tutorial step by step? do the items have to be movie clips and do they have to have an instance name??? because its not working its kinda dodged :( please help

  • @scaperjoe WAAAAY late response but make sure your cahracters instance name is char

  • @bad7boyzftw sorry for the WAY late resonse, but you probably need to look at the item script again... if everything is right then you forgot to change the characters instance name to char lol common mistake

  • what did i do wrong?? here is the error:

    **Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Actions, frame=1:Line 2: Clip events are permitted only for movie clip instances onClipEvent(enterFrame) {

    **Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Actions, frame=1:Line 12: Syntax error.

    Total ActionScript Errors: 2 Reported Errors: 2
